Do I need an account?+
No. TripPouch works from the very first launch — no sign-up, no password, no email. There's nothing to log into.
Is my data private?+
Yes. Your trips, documents, IDs and notes are stored in a local database and file store on your device. We don't upload them, there are no ads, and there's no third-party tracking. You can add an optional Face ID or passcode lock for extra protection.
Does it really work offline?+
Completely. Documents are copied into the app so they open without Wi-Fi, and reminders, packing, checklists and emergency info are all on-device. TripPouch is built for the gate, the plane and abroad.
Is TripPouch free?+
The core app is free and unlimited. TripPouch Pro is an optional subscription that adds at-rest document encryption and Travel Mode, and supports development. You can use TripPouch fully without it.
What happens to my data if Pro ends?+
All of your trips and documents stay fully visible, editable and exportable. Pro only adds extra features on top — it never holds your data hostage.
Can I move my data to a new phone?+
Yes. Export a local JSON backup or a PDF trip packet from the app, then import the backup on your new device. Because TripPouch is local-first, your data moves with you, on your terms.
Does the privacy lock protect my passport like a secure document store?+
The optional lock and document encryption protect access on your device. They're a strong privacy layer, not a guarantee of identity-document or legal security — treat your exported files and device backups with the same care you would any sensitive file.
